1. Physical properties.

Appearance: White powder or granular or irregular block.

True density: about 2.0g/ml false density: about 0.2g/ml (ordinary product).

High temperature resistance, non-combustion; good electrical insulation.

2. Chemical properties:

Can react with caustic soda SiO2nH2O+2NaOH=Na2SiO3+ (naphth1) H2O.

Can react with hydrofluoric acid SiO2nH2O+4HF=SiF4+ (naphth2) H2O.

Rubber products.

White carbon black is used in colored rubber products to replace carbon black for reinforcement to meet the needs of white or translucent products.

White carbon black also has super adhesion, tear resistance and heat resistance and aging resistance, so it can also replace part of carbon black in black rubber products to obtain high quality rubber products, such as cross-country tire, engineering tire, radial tire and so on.

Agricultural chemical products.

In agrochemical products, such as pesticides, efficient spraying fertilizer, etc., using silica as carrier or diluent, disintegrant and as disintegrating agent in water dispersible granule wdg can increase the suspension rate, and the recommended content is about 10%.

Anti-caking agent.

White carbon black can be used to improve free mobility in some products, such as grass fertilizers, fungicides, grinding wheel abrasives, laundry bleach, phenolic injection molding of urotropine, phenolic and urea plastics, the manufacture of rubber sulfur and anti-caking mixtures.

Papermaking filler.

Using silica as paper filler can improve the ink penetration resistance and mechanical strength of the paper, increase the whiteness and reduce the unit weight.
