Chemical properties: 1,8-diazabicycloundec-7-ene (DBU) is a colorless or slightly yellow oily liquid. Purpose: This product is used as a catalyst for the production of polyurethane ethyl ester and other chemicals. For example, ammonia and dichloroethane react in its presence to form piperazine. It is an excellent dehydrating agent, epoxy resin hardener, and anti-corrosion agent. Rust agent, advanced corrosion inhibitor can also be prepared. It is currently widely used in the production of cephalosporin semi-synthetic antibiotics. Also used in organic synthesis reactions and semi-synthetic antibiotics. Purpose 1,8-diazabicycloundec-7-ene (DBU) can be used as a catalyst for the production of polyurethane ethyl ester and other chemicals. For example, ammonia and dichloroethane react in the presence of Chemicalbook to form piperazine. Azine is an excellent dehydrating agent, epoxy resin hardener, rust inhibitor, and can be used to prepare advanced corrosion inhibitors. It is widely used in the production of cephalosporin semi-synthetic antibiotic drugs. Resin curing accelerator, especially for external sealing resin of integrated circuits and electronic components; dehalogenation reaction, dimerization and trimerization dehalogenation reaction; desulfonic acid and denitric acid reactions during the polymerization process. Usage: Dehydrohalogenation reaction to form amidine bases of alkenes; more important applications such as: esterification reaction of carboxylic acids and alkyl halides; alkylation and acylation of active methylene compounds. Usage: Used in semi-synthetic antibiotic drugs for cephalosporins. Manufacturing, also used to prepare deacidification agents, rust inhibitors, advanced corrosion inhibitors, etc.
