Chemical Properties Colorless to light straw yellow oil with spearmint aroma. Boiling point is 231℃, flash point is 93.5℃. Soluble in propylene glycol, vegetable oil and mineral oil, miscible in ethanol, insoluble in glycerin and water. Natural products are the main component of spearmint oil (the content can be as high as 70%).
