They can publish product information online to let numerous domestic and foreign buyers know more about the product information quickly and conveniently. In addition, the store is also a good corporate branding.
(1) How to apply for a store?
Upon entering the MOLBASE member account, click on the user center.
Next, click on the “apply for a store” button on the bottom of the left column.
After the review is complete, the supplier can open a store successfully.
(2) Why do we need to have information authenticated?
According to the 49th order <Online commodity trading and relevant service behavior management provisional regulations> issued by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, since July 1, 2010, the legal person and other economic organizations or natural persons, who are using the Internet to engage in commodity trading and relevant service behaviors, need to perform the display for business license in public (or personal identity information declaration), and upon examination obligation. So that, for the implementation of the execution of this order, regular members need to have personal real-name certification or company name certification, so that to publish the suppliers’ product information.
Pass the personal real-name certification or company name certification will let both buyers and suppliers build a better trust foundation, reduce the communication cost and increase trading success rate.
(3) How do we apply for the company certification?
In the process of applying for a store, MOLBASE requires the suppliers to upload a copy of the company business license to ensure the accuracy of the company information.
Suppliers need to ensure that the contact information such as phone number and email address published in MOLBASE are always correct.
This will allow buyers to contact the suppliers more conveniently, and increase the suppliers’ credit rating.
(4) How to do the personal certification?
Enter the company name certification page.
Click on “personal certification”.
Suppliers need to fill in the basic information carefully, especially the ID number and real name.
Next, upload the photocopy of the ID.
After the review is complete, suppliers can publish product information. The personal information cannot be changed after certification, and you can only apply for one account.
(5) Are there any membership fees for opening a store in MOLBASE?
There are no membership fees in MOLBASE. MOLBASE is committed to be a professional, open and free platform for the chemical industry.
Registration as a member and opening of a store is free.
(6) How do I customize the store’s appearance?
To ensure a simple process, maintain the aesthetics and consistency for the online store, MOLBASE will provide a uniform store template for the suppliers.
Suppliers just need to upload the company and product COA, ROS (process) pictures and fill in the information to get their store up and running.
